    I see someone mentioned chair making, specifically Windsor chairs, but I did not see the word “Scorp“. Doubt this is a scorp unless it is one in terrible condition, but like an adze, a scorp has very defined wood working uses.

    Peacocks! Dan, growing up in Arcadia, the thing to do as a delinquent in HS, was to climb the high fence at the Arboretum at night and chase peacocks. May have had some underage alcohol helping out too.
