You're right about #6 & #7 going together. I found another thumb nut that fastens #6 to #7, however seem to be missing an intermediate washer or something because it's a sloppy fit, even with the thumb nut tightened all the way. Thanks for your help. Edit: Super helpful photos too - thanks!
