I have a set of metric deeps for about a year and they've held up well. I use them about 3-4 times a month on miscellaneous projects and haven't had an issue yet.
And then if any tech has items financed by credit they will default and be sent to collections and have their credit dinged. That will make the techs happy. Is it worth it to screw your employees just to make a point on an item that could just be called in for warranty?
Why is that BS? He's following the Snap-on warranty policy. Warranty only covers the original purchaser of the item if you read the warranty in a catalog. Sure he could of taken care of it and been done with it but you cant blame the guy for following procedure.
I'm sure this is a fluke and Costco won't be having this tool storage unit as a all time item.
Also if you don't want to pay 10k a year in property taxes and 10% sales tax move out of Crook County.
