Check your utility companie's website. Many Electric companies across the US have great rebates on wifi T stats without signing up for their programs that adjust the Tstat during high demand times. My electric company, National Grid, currently has the Emerson Sensi for $24 after rebate. It...
I have a probably expensive extension cord that has a locking female end. I assume it uses these holes to lock the male in. Have to pull down on the outer ring of the female end to unlock, kinda like quick connect on a hose.
You have to give the power company permission to do this. Doesn't happen without permission. Many people signed up for this program to get a $50 rebate and didn't read the fine print.
I installed a Reverber-Ray in my 30x60 with 12 ft ceilings. Upstate NY. Installed this spring and yet to hook up the gas. Bought from H-mac. They now seem to be called Northstock. I bought a model that wasn't listed on their web page.
A tube mounted at the back wall will warm the back more...
We manufacture this where I work. GE Silicones Enduris™ Silicone Roof Coating. This is what I would use personally, but that is because I can get it for free!
My 30ft Reverber-Ray 2 stage 75k btu cost about $1400 complete. I installed by myself standing on scaffolding.
Replacing the whole thing would be cheaper than what they are quoting you.
There's not much to them if you can source the parts, I'd think you can replace a cracked tube and change...
I recently bought the Emerson Sensi. According to their documentation, the minimum set point is 45F. That is the reason I bought Sensi over others. I have not yet tried to set it that low on the first one I installed. I'm not home as I write this.
Emerson's documentation says thermostat...
Look for the Emerson Sensi or other thermostats thru your gas and electric utility. I got my 2 Sensi for $5 each after instant rebates during cyberweek with National Grid's Marketplace. They are now $52 each, but still a deal. Most utilities in US seem to be doing this.
I had room above my drain to install a trap. My dehumidifier has a built in pump. It pumps from floor to the trap fine. A 8ft head of water is less than 4psi.
