had a digging contractor bury it, its still reasonably fresh , just would be a pain to dig up , he was saying he had buried this line before with no issues, stated as long as i would not be digging around it for any reason then conduit was not needed, my thinking is if gas co would not locate...

Good evening had a flexible gas line buried about 2 weeks ago, not hooked up yet, it is the yellow csst line 3/4 , only about 60 feet from house gas meter to garage my contractor to hook it up is now saying it might need to be in conduit Thanks for any replies
