    HF vice grips

I'm interested to know if the 6" long nose Bremens have the same "tight" construction that the bigger models are known for (as in very little side-to-side play). Irwins are just waggly.

Need help ID'ing an arbor nut size

It's made in Taiwan. Here's what the mm side looks like. It's hard to tell, my guess is 1.5mm or 18 tpi... I was hoping there's a standard.

Need help ID'ing an arbor nut size

I have a free 1995-vintage ToolStar 10" chop/miter saw Model R255. This thing looks like a tank compared to the modern plastic models. I'd like to use this as a chop saw for steel bar stock and save my newer one for wood chopping. Anyway, The Arbor nut is gone from it, and I'd like to find a...

    Best 4/6 in 1 Screwdriver

UPDATE: I just went outside to clean up my AC unit for the impending warmer temps. I carried the Channellock 61A, and needed to use both bit drivers thanks to the previous owners who were careless with the sheet metal screws. Easy enough and required no trips back inside to fetch another bit...

    Best 4/6 in 1 Screwdriver

Hey all yaw. I bet you've accumulated a bunch of 1/4" X 1" bits over the years, right? they come with everything as an addon... sometimes you might buy a whole pack just to get one particular size. I like to use old Altoids tins to store em as spares...because the cheap ones like to strip out...

    Best 4/6 in 1 Screwdriver

Back on the subject of basic 6-in-1's (not mere bit drivers). I'm a stickler about these things because I use mine more than anything other than my pocketknife. I received a new Channellock 61A from a big online retailer, and I gotta tell you, it is hands-down the beefiest 6-in-1 I've ever...

    Best 4/6 in 1 Screwdriver

Those are really nice options. I'm putting that snap-on on my list of Xmas gift ideas. There are lots of nice "bit drivers" in this thread, but in my experience doing handyman duty with wiring appliances and house/farm electrical, a classic 6-in-1 is a better tool for the attic, laundry closet...

    Best 4/6 in 1 Screwdriver

I found this thread while searching for the same question OP asked. I promised myself to not post anything online anymore, but I seem to have enough of these (and care enough about it) to add my opinion. I have the following: Lutz 6-in-1: The Classic 6-in-1. Made in USA (allegedly). Sturdy...
