Thanks, I feel like an idiot. I searched google on my phone from the shop no luck. Now i'm on the computer I see how it's used. What's even sadder is I've rented a tool to do the job :-(

Sure you can use those wheels if you don't mind some gouges and cup marks in your concrete. You may go through a few of those cups for your project and it should take you about 1/2 day. Flakes can help hide marks and other issues.

How did you manage to work around/under the hot water heater? I'm curious as I have a water softener that would be impossible to move without cutting copper pipe.

how about diamondplate "kick" trim underneath the treads?

I would think that brake cleanor or carb cleaner would ruin VCT? We have VCT at my workplace installed underneath solvent printers. The ink and cleaning solvent for the printers definitely stains the tiles. In fact, the cleaning solvent melts the surface.
