    With All The SK Talk

What a beautiful collection. I recently fell in love with a sk wrench set at work. There was a couple in the shop tool box so I went through each draw and almost made a complete set, I wish I could lock them up in my box before someone decides to use them as a punch or something

The straw that broke the camel's back tool shelf collapse.

I agree with the guy above me about telling us what you'd be willing to sell, I'm in desperate need of American made socket and wrench sets. Also you don't have a welder in there somewhere? I'd get some angle iron and brace the shelf. Take 100lbs off it and it will be fine

Trying to upload pics but the mobile upload way is taking forever, I'll get on the computer later and get them on here. I got the car with a bunch of rot under the trim and lower ground effects, I cut it all out and welded in new patch panels, sanded and long boarded the whole car and filled in...

Quality of Home Depot & Husky-Branded Tools Boxes

I have a husky 4 draw cabinet in my basement, 75% plastic and 25% metal. The plastic is very flimsy and cheap, the lock on it broke randomly. The bottom of each draw is plastic and can't take much weight, I have drill bit kits, coolant system pressure tester kits, compression tester kits, and...

    Broke first socket ever today

Broke my third socket at work the other day removing a front ski off of a snow mobile, had a decent sized breaker bar on it and was putting my full weight on it so I had a feeling I was either going to break the socket or break my fist on the concrete floor, glad it was the socket. I couldn't...

OMG Don't let your neighbor help you help him...

That was painful to read, some people who don't wrench or have experience with hand tools just see, "I need pointed object, chisel will work" instead of asking where you keep your punches. Good on your part but the next time he comes over id be a little more stern with him when he starts doing...

hey guys, Ive lurked on this thread for a couple years now but finally decided to make an account. I'm probably breaking the main rule of this site by not having a garage at the moment due to having to move from my old house with a wonderful fully pact garage of tools. Now all of my tools are...

Ever think of giving up the air compressor?

I have to say I helped out the renovation team at my last job and they had a trailer full of the Milwaukee m18 cordless tools. I was blown away by the quality and how reliable they were. There was a battery charger with 6 batteries hooked on it at once and the full m18 line up. the impact...
