There's one easy way to screw with the bells garden guy. If a seller is selling or giving away a hot item, someone here could easily send them a text or email and warn them first not to sell to the guy with phone number ending in 8329. That is assuming he uses that number to call sellers.

Sorry my original post must have been confusing. I was asking how I should prep bare metal for painting that have already been stripped of rust and paint. From what I understand, you need to prep the bare metal surface so the paint can adhere to it properly and won't peel off later on.

Should I use phosphoric acid on bare metal before painting or is sanding with a very fine sandpaper (400 grit +) a better idea ? I can't seem to find much any information on this. What do you guys do to bare metal before priming ? I will be using Rustoleum primer and paint enamel. phosphoric...
