That eBay listing from post 2 is shipped from China, shows 10-35 working days lead-time and the seller has some poor feedback.
Dankin PCB repair gets a lot of google hits. maybe they are crummy at making them? Here is a video of one that looks similar. Not the easiest to follow but maybe...
The NEON is great. IF it all works and your comfortable with it then great. IF not then rip it all out and install "LED SIGN MODULES". Easier then Led tape and they have integral lenses to spread the light out (can be ordered in red also but white would probably work well)
Going thru decades of hoarding and trying to put together a full set of 6 and 12 point Craftsman. I'd say 99 percent of all the the stuff I have for trade was purchased from a Sears store between 1990s and long before they closed and went to the laser engraved ****. there are a couple older...
Ha! Shows ya how little I know about chevy truck alternators. I don't feel too bad considering the Autozone guy didn't seem to know either. If he would of looked up what i was asking for and handed me the 10si I could have made that work (as long as he could have dound me the plug to go...
First sentence that came out of my mouth had a couple of key words "Alternator" "60/70 GM"
Second set of words that came out of my mouth had the key words "69 Chevy truck alternator"
The AZ guy had all the info needed. I had only been in the store a couple times and I think I could have found...
As stated above no less then 5' from inside edge of tub AND within line of sight. Line of sight means you can see it from equipment it serves and no more then 50' . Local code may vary. That GFCI panel needs to have hot(s) neutral and ground feeder.
Autozone (a true story)
ME:
Howdy, Can I get a single wire alternator? Exact details don't matter for my use, Something like a 60/70s GM would be fine.
Annoyed I'm bothering him during nap time AutoZone employee:
Whats it going in?
Me:
Not relevant to my needs. Just need the alternator...
"top" boxes (like the one OP pictured) I don't know if I've ever seen one mounted in the bed of a truck. I'd love to have the larger box in my truck but didn't get one because my thinking is that lids are typically not stepped and part of the lid lip faces forward.
The "chest" style ones...
As answered above. Your math is fine but unless there are odd circumstances your good per NEC or otherwise. As a general rule of thumb I try to never exceed 2K watts on a 20A ckt. your basically there but fine.
I've never heard or used of that fixture. brand. What are your plans moving...
For academic purposes.... Take a 2 pole GFCI breaker and completely omit connecting a neutral. Take any or both phase conductors and leak its rated current to earth (typically 6ma) It will (in my experience) trip. The internal potential relay and its CT dont rely on logic (at least not...

I see what your saying and agree with you that (at least for Siemens and SQd) would definitely need to be installed if not simply for its manual stating to do so. But still. I don't believe you can accurately say "It won't trip without a neutral" as quoted elsewhere. I've personally...
In conduit, a run of the mill duplex fiber patch cable will last a LONG time. I wouldn't dare charge for doing this but have seen a lot worse in the field. That being said... Exactly how long a piece do you need? I probably have some gel filled DB6 tail pieces in the shop. I dont get on...
not true
Edit: I'll bend a little on this. The couple of spec sheets I looked over indicating that it (neutral pigtail) needs to be landed. This is a liability hedge. In function, the breaker does not need it to function properly if a neutral is unused.

Its amazing that someone aside from the OP could be so interested in arguing a basic, general idea using their own specific situation and equipment. Especially one that appears to be unlikely to be implemented and you dont know what equipment this tread was created under. I bet your a hoot at...
