What do you take away from this little experiment? That people no longer care about brands, or that they just dont know much about brands?
I know that if I go to a yard sale and see anything Snap-On for a cheap price, I will get it just because it is SO.

Due to FOD and Tool Control requirements my company requires all employees to use only the tools provided by the company. We are a large defense contractor with thousands of employees. Snap-On must love us.
I have wanted one of those for a while. I have seen those on ebay for about $50 in similar or worse condition. My father has one and he has had it since the early 80s and I believe he purchased it new.
Yesterday the weather didnt really want to cooperate, so the only available sales were estate sales. One of which the guy priced every single tool in the garage. The asking prices were waaay too high, but they werent close enough to try and go back today.
