:beer:It looks like the dirt work is almost done so from now on out it should be more fun. That's a great idea to locate the air compressor in the shed. It'll save a lot of floor space and you wont have to hear it (bonus).

It always feels good to finally start a project after all the planning and waiting for spring. Keep up on the posts. Should be a fun build.

I've got to say that is the coolest garage / house restoration I've ever seen. I love seeing old buildings brought back to life and keep as much original architecture as possible. I'm a new member on GJ so I haven't seen every thread, but can't imagine there being anything else quite this cool ...
Thanks everyone for the great welcome. My brother has a 2 post lift ,that we installed, centered between 2 rafters. Then framed a rectangle box between the rafters to accept the post to extend into them when lifting a car. works pretty well with 12' ceilings.
