Welcome from the Twin Cities
I'm wondering about the EMT part.
Is it Emergency Medical Technician or you ran Electrical Metallic Tubing (thinwall conduit) in your garage?
Respect for both here. Someday we'll all likely need a Med Tech and I don't like Romex.
Question for the big Wilton bullet gurus here:
I came across a set of Wilton 404-6-1/2 Brass Soft Jaws.
I have a 6" Wilton C3. Can I make them fit my vise?
Fun thread.
Reminds me of the best boss I ever worked for.
If he saw you doing something dumb he would say;
"Jerry, you gotta be smarter than a goddamned pliers". (or hammer, shovel, shackle or whatever someone was using wrong)
If I could give you a 1 hour lesson I could make a good drywall taper/mudder out of you. There's only about 3 things you need to know
Jerry
Was a pretty good mudder before I retired.)
Anybody want this little SK box?
I could put it on ebay I suppose but then I'd have to fart around and ship the thing.
I'm NOT gonna ship it. Come and get it.

I made some blue wire this afternoon.
The 1-1/2 12 nut on the spindle of my brush mower fell off. Had to order a new one.
New nut was about 3/8"" thicker than the old one. Lathe was already set up with the 3 jaw chuck and carbide bit so it was easy.
I hogged it off in 3 passes. Could have done...
Better organization. If you're a wrench guy it's One drawer for 3/8" one 1/2", one for 3/4" ratchets and sockets.
I don't need drawers that are 42" wide.
They're just heavier and less specialized.
These typically have several drawer depths.
2" depth is perfect for a lot of things.
3 1/2" for...
Yesterday I took my steady rest completely apart and wire brushed 80 years of grunge and nastiness off of it then washed it down with lacquer thinner and primed then painted it.
Today it was dry enough that I could reassemble it again.
It is original to my lathe.
