I have the same thing.One wall is compl below grade and it was the wonkiest.wettest of them all, I formed up in front of it and filled it with concrete.Much drier,flatter and plumb.

Be aware if it’s steel,mine rusted through in less than 3yrs.

Removed the iron pins from a tombstone,seriously rust jacked to the point of cracking the stone.Epoxied in new 5/8 stainless rod to replace them.

I’ve done a lot of Anderson service over the years and I would agree that they used to be the gold standard in customer service,not so much anymore.The quality sure seems to have suffered as well,in my opinion.

Read the whole thread this evening,my hat is off to you,what a wonderful place you have created there.My son is up your way (Kodiak,Anchorage,Fairbanks)flying bush planes,I know he has found a home in Alaska.Sounds like you did alright choosing a wife as well.

I never have outside crews but I usually tip delivery drivers so they can get what they want.
