It may have been suggested earlier, if so, I missed it. I use old office file cabinets to store my corded power tools. I picked up a couple at a used office furniture store for about $10 each. Didn't even need to paint them and one of them was even lockable.

I just found Garage Journal this afternoon and I have spent the last couple of hours bouncing around reading some of the postings. I must say this group seems to be comprised of informative, talented, and witty individuals that enjoy sharing their ideas and their knowledge about their passions...
