Re: My new "3" *cough* car garage.
jar944 - Life has been extremely busy and forgot all about garage journal. I'm looking at building another garage and stubbled back on the forums to see your reply from a year ago on one of my posts. Sounds like you aren't too far away and use my road as a...
So I've had a lot going on but started making the shop more my own. Starting to put signs on the walls and finish up some of the work benches and spaces. Still a lot of stuff sitting around but its getting there just at a slower pace. I ended up pulling a pellet stove out of a house I sold...
drc42 - I saw where you said you purchased it from Summit Racing. I know there was a group buy a few years back for Bendpak but cant seem to find it. What made you purchase from Summit? Price? Customer service?

Well finally starting to get some time to set things up in the shop. I had time the other day to build a 2'x16' work bench. Put two coats of Waterlox on the top yesterday.
UnionMan
After putting the second coat of Waterlox on I had to go behind the shop and check on the cows.
Well things have been busy this spring. Between projects to get the shop finished, cows calving, fixing fences, building sorting pens, working a job and being a parent. A lot of things have gotten done just not a lot in one department. I hope to have the shop pretty far along in the next month...
Thank you everyone for the compliments. Been a long road to get where I am at today.
Bib Overalls - I am very happy with how the metal ceiling came out. I was originally going to do the same OSB but realized that it was very practical and I wasn't going to save much money over the metal. I...
Got 90% of the OSB hung. Making some more progress. Hope to get the inside done soon so I can move all the tools and equipment in and get working on my cow sorting pens before I get busy with hay season.
UnionMan
Well some small updates. Things are going a lot slower then planned but I'm happy with any kind of progress. Finally have almost everything wrapped up inside the shop and started to sheet the interior walls with OSB. Once all the OSB is complete then all the fun begins to set up everything...
Re: HemiRamOn22s Shop (40'x80') & House Build!!
I went the Mini-Split route for the office space and bathroom in my shop. Did a 3 interior heads on a single 2 ton outside unit. I've been very happy with it lately. Had some low temps recently and its been very comfortable in the shop but I...
HemiRamOn22s - Just curious what made you go with the metal on the walls in your shop opposed to other options. I'm looking to sheet the interior side of my shop and was going to go with OSB and paint white. I went with metal ceiling but just curious to what your deciding factor was for the...
Started Flooring in the Office Areas and Bathroom. Bathroom Fixtures installed. Mini Splits are working great. Still a work in progress but coming along.

HemiRamOn22s - Everything looks like is coming along nicely. Wish I spent the extra dime when I got my zero turn and go a Diesel Kubota. I ended up with a Scag. Only thing in my fleet that isn't Kubota and Diesel. Make is a pain for refueling since I have a transfer tank on my truck for...
Well some slow progress. The mini-splits are all mounted and working. Just need to finish up the rooms before they are weather tight with doors and windows that are open to the main area of the shop. Then I'll get all the fixtures set in the bathroom and USB on the walls in the main shop area...
Tbender78 - northern tool. I got the larger 16" size. I also got the photocell kit for them. I happened to pick them up on sale for $119 each without the photocell. I also have them under my porch if a different style mount. They come with multiple ways to mount them (goose neck, 90 degree...
Thank you, Check out post #66 shows it a bit. But used 2x4 purlins horizontal about 2 ft on center going up the wall. Trimmed out windows with 2x4 and then ripped down 1x8 pine trim to make a nice window sill.
