Speakers - In the wall or sitting on a shelf

I went through this same internal debate and finally decided on monitors for sound quality and reproduction. It strikes me when people settle for ****** 35 year old speakers in a garage. There is indeed a difference in quality and audio reproduction when comparing the same in-wall speaker to a...

    Looking for Gambrel Garage Plans

Try Curtis Lumber. The brother (or some family member) owns a truss manufacturing company in upstate NY. They have several locations near Albany and are a good, family owned company. I used them to build a 24x28 2-story gambrel style garage and everything worked out well. I have no real major...

1970 Honda CT70 Mini Dirt bike

True... have used that for ultra-bulky bodywork. I think one set of a dishwasher sized box (maybe larger) cost $55 from NY to WA state. Took 2 solid weeks, but was no rush for the buyer!

1970 Honda CT70 Mini Dirt bike

Try uShip... I've had good success with them and this little tiddler isn't that large or heavy for someone to pick up. Or even a huge box and go UPS or FedEx. I've sent motorcycle engines through UPS from me to CA and TX before for around $300.

Trying to keep the heat out

FWIW... I installed a small solar fan in the ridge cap recently of a 24x28 2 story garage I built. It really helped to evacuate the stagnant air up there and helped cool the upstairs. They aren't much money and are essentially free to operate. http://www.sunrisesolar.net/
