I use Battery Tender Jr and rotate from car to car over the winter. I usually put it on a car until it is completely charged and don't come back to that car for at least a month or so. It is not like a battery will discharge in a few weeks.
I had the inside of my garage painted. They used some sort of block primer that is thicker and fills in the small irregularities in the block. For the larger holes and cracks they used bondo. On top of that they used regular paint. Turned out great.
I was just at a tool sale at a guys garage nearby. He had a number of wrenches that were stamped Ford. I imagine that they were once standard issue for mechanics, I don't know the age. I should have taken a picture. How unusual are these, they are all in fairly good condition.
Ok, I am convinced. I will get the HF. If I find I need a workbench I have an 8' Gladiator that I can always move from my basement. It pretty much just keeps things off the floor.
Thanks for the offer, the HF is in Crystal Lake. No friends nearby that I would want to impose on. Maybe if i could get a lift gate I could do it myself by sliding it but otherwise I am not looking to lift this thing.
I have read the HF tool chest comparison and had pretty much decided on the HF 44". I even matched some colors in my garage to the US General red. However, I recently came across the Husky 52 11 drawer chest...
Shiftless, did they give you a choice of which day it was going to be delivered or just call a day in advance? I don't have a lot of flexibility on being home with little notice.
Occasionally Sears will have the 30" Gladiator cabinets on sale for $100. I got these two for $210 total. They aren't red but the quality is pretty good.
The space is in Crystal Lake. What is the best way to attach pictures? I took these from a camera and downsized them but didn't have much luck copying them into the post. I see how the attachment doesn't allow folks to get much detail.
