The Craftsman (SB&D) V20 Thread of Red

I have the hedge trimmer, weedwacker (v20 & v60), and I think every v20 tool they make now except for the multitool and radio? Out of the newly released ones though (I assume you mean the brushless ones), I have everything except the sds & sawzall which our store still doesn't have. I was going...

    New Craftsman SBD Ratchet teardown.

This was like click bait. I was hoping for a tear down or insight of the literal 'new' Craftsman ratchets. As in 2020, like the upcoming USA models. This is old news. Like others I rarely tear my ratchets apart. Usually a quick soak in transmission fluid will smooth things out if needed...

The Craftsman (SB&D) V20 Thread of Red

I just got the 7 1/4 circular saw and 1/2 Mid Torque impact delivered this morning. I haven't got to use them yet but This is what I'm talking about. Craftsman needs more tools like this. This saw is a beast. Nothing chintzy about it. The impact is such an upgrade over the antique brushed model...

    New Craftsman Pro Series GripLatch?

If these are Waterloo/Craftsman (I've always viewed them as the same company), then I don't understand Stanley. This is the type of stuff us Craftsman guys want and want to see at Lowe's. Sears is gone in most areas and most likely dead. Where's the Pro/Industrial stuff at Lowe's? Tool boxes...

    Mac Tools You’re opinion

It was never my brand. I was always an SK-Craftsman Industrial/Professional guy. I do wish Craftsman had their impact wrenches though. I remember a few guys in the late 80's who swore by Mac but I don't think the brand carries much weight these days.

The Craftsman (SB&D) V20 Thread of Red

Our Blaine's has a section cleared out for V20 with a big Made in USA (with global materials) laminated sign underneath it. I wonder (and am hoping) there's far more USA power tools coming. This isn't the hand tools section but solely power tools. There's several Dewalt tools they could build...

Very Impressed with my NEW CRAFTSMAN 3/8-in Cordless Impact Wrench CMCF910B

I have that too and it's a nice impact! I initially was just going to buy another USA brushless impact driver and figure out how to put a 3/8 anvil on there instead of the hex bit but then this showed up at Lowe's one day. They didn't even advertise it which is odd. Just sitting there in the...

Anyone got a Masterforce side box?

That is an awesome set up! Menard's has some of if not The nicest tool boxes, cabinets and add ons out there. Especially for the money. They're very well built and professional looking. Our Menard's has expanded their tool storage line rapidly. There's a couple of Craftsman boxes there too but...

You want the brushless versions for sure. I wouldn't spend money on the entry brushed models. I think you'd regret it. I agree with coleman10, the metal chuck and speed selector models are my preference as well. I had the single speed DeWalt 885 for years but after having my USA Craftsman (which...

The Craftsman (SB&D) V20 Thread of Red

Well I stopped in there but they didn't have the mid torque or the saw. I wonder if the virus going around will slow down their supply chain? I agree on the Dewalt saw, it's awesome! I've used one enough to have a good feel for the differences for comparison. One thing I didn't care for in the...

The Craftsman (SB&D) V20 Thread of Red

It is. I'm hoping there's a higher powered one coming. Something inline with the 12v Milwaukee stubby gun is what Craftsman needs in this smaller sized impact range. I use mine on little things. Our Lowe's shows the 6.0ah battery in stock so I'm stopping there after work tonight or tomorrow and...

The saw was listed on Lowe's website. Model #CMCS550B. I agree, a glue gun would be great!

    Craftsman 19.2v C3 Fans

. Oh, the V20 sawzall is great. If it were brushless it would be even better. I used ours to cut tree branches down this past summer and the only thing that would have made it better is if the batteries lasted longer. This is the same deal with the grinder. Not being brushless, they both eat...

    Craftsman 19.2v C3 Fans

I had most of the C3 line along with some Dewalt & Bosch stuff. I gave away or sold most of the C3 stuff when I switched over to the new V20 line. I have most all of the V20 tools and for the most part, they are on par with the C3 line. I hated the V20 impact wrench (too big and heavy) though...
