I want to buy a small 4-post lift for car storage in my two-car garage.
I have plenty of height in my garage, but am short on width and length.
Ideally, I would want to lift that is around 95 " wide from outer post to outer post.
Length would be 12' outer post to outer post.
Does anyone know...
I am going to install a 4-post lift and only need to raise my garage door 1 1/2 feet.
Do I need to go the Liftmaster route or is there a less expensive way to do it?
Thanks.
Paul
I would like to hear about the kits you found to raise your doors.
I had two companies come over to give me estimates and they are very expensive ($1400-$1600).
Thanks.

I had a guy come over to look at raising my garage door and he recommends using a Raynor Prodigy opener. He said it the same as Liftmaster 3800.
I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks.

Who did you get to do the work?
I am going to do the same thing and install a 4-post lift.
Do you know of anyone locally that will install the lift?
Thanks.

I am looking for information on what type of 4 post lift to install in my two-car garage. Also need info on how to raise the door and opener closer to the ceiling.
Thanks.
