    Peel and stick roof coating

Check out the videos on this page: http://www.sarnafilus.com/peel-and-stick_rs http://www.rsimag.com/rsi/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=99069 There are a few others, but it appears that you put down your traditional underlayment of felt paper, and then roll this stuff out. BTW, my roof will be...

    Peel and stick roof coating

Anybody have experience with them? I've decided to go with wood construction to better match my house and so I could attach it more easily. In the interest of saving cost and since I'll be doing a lot of the work myself it was suggested for me to look into peel and stick roofing materials...

European Pipe Standards - Too Funny

Lol! This can't be real. This has to be a joke. Am I to assume #17 is the bag pipes? I hope so...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

I got a quote from Olympia the other day for 17K delivered for just the building and doors. Insulation and vents were extra. It's better, but not something I'm going to get excitied about. I did run across another issue though. All the local steel builing companies that do installs don't...

Need help with Asymmetric Or Symmetric lifts

That's what I've gathered too. They're popular in the truck crowd because of this. Although I've had my truck on a few symmetric lifts with no issues.

Storing parts/ scrap metal outside neatly?

I've used 6" abs or pvc pipe for storing and more importantly sorting various types of tubing or strips. I find it easier to sort and store sheets vertically though. It's easier to sort through to find the size you need vs. laying them down flat.

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

I must admit it is a little indimidating dealing with big heavy steel beams and such. I would feel much more comforable building it out of wood if I had to do it myself. For now, I'm just going to take this estimate with a huge grain of salt. There are a few other steel building companies...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

Thanks for the input guys. I figured that my quote was over priced. Its interesting that you mentioned that the price of steel has gone down. I thought the price of concrete has as well. This guy said that everything has gone up. I thought he was pulling my chain since all the materials...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

Yeah, that's the kind of price I was expecting without insulation, electrical and lights, and with only 1 door, given the raw material price. The 21K plus 10K didn't include any doors, framing for doors, or installtion of the doors, insulation or vents. That's all extra too. To me it seems, if...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

I could swallow 12-15K for the steel. Lol! They want 21K for the steel and 10.5K to put it up. :headscrat The overhang that attaches to my house is extra too. I've done framing before and my dad's a contractor here, so I could always fall back on him and his buddies. I'm begining to think...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

I just recieved a quote for a 30x40 steel building today, and it came in a little high for my liking. Last time I got quotes for a building was back in November, and it was from compaines I found online. The thing that turned me off about them was the fact that they were 1000+ miles away and...
