Anyone using the Bendpak GoAir mini compressor on their lift? Other ideas?

This is a new space for me, and I don't have a compressor in here yet. But I will eventually move the big unit from my home garage over here. Could certainly use that eventually. Although, you're right, if that's the plan, maybe (as @pbon mentioned) I get a cheap, portable one for now, and...

Anyone using the Bendpak GoAir mini compressor on their lift? Other ideas?

Yeah, that's a good point. The cars I'd be driving on it are fairly small, but it's worth considering. The HD-P7 is 90.25" between the posts, so I probably have 10" on each side for the widest car (with mirrors folded). But I assume I'd be mounting the compressor ABOVE any mirrors, etc... I do...

Anyone using the Bendpak GoAir mini compressor on their lift? Other ideas?

Been shopping around for a four-post lift, and Bendpak is the only brand with one narrow enough to fit in the location i need it. Anyway, as y'all know, they need a compressor to disengage the locks to lift the platform. Trying to decide on a compressor for this. I know ANYTHING will work as...

Washing cars in garage... waterproof paint or plastic curtain?

as someone mentioned above, the vapor barrier poly plastic sheeting could be an easy/cheap option. 10 feet by 100 feet is like $60 at menards... Could just hang it from the walls when I wash the car...

Washing cars in garage... waterproof paint or plastic curtain?

yeah it's from this site https://curtainandtarp.com/products/wash-bay-curtains hmmmm that's also a good point yeah, making my own curtain might be the move, but also being careful with the hose. Plus it's not like I'm washing cars every day in there. And I don't really have an issue running...

Washing cars in garage... waterproof paint or plastic curtain?

Giving some thought to this, as I have a garage with a drain, and enough room to wash my car. Has anyone used waterproof/water resistant paint on sheetrock walls? Is it an effective option? Or would you get a plastic curtain setup, that you can slide out of the way when not in use...

Exterior sliding barn/shed door... how to lock?

Bunch of ideas here: sliding barn door bottom guides Rollers, channel, not sure what I'll do yet.

Exterior sliding barn/shed door... how to lock?

yeah, I think this makes the most sense, mfs and CJ7... Fix one door to stay fixed MOST of the time. Then if you need to load something big in/out, you can open it.

Exterior sliding barn/shed door... how to lock?

I did just find this very fancy and expensive unit, but I'd need two, and I'm not going there.

Exterior sliding barn/shed door... how to lock?

Building a shed, and I want to use a sliding barn door. But what's the best way to lock it? A center lock that keeps the doors joined wouldn't work too well, as the doors could still slide to one side as a group. Thinking a double-hinged hasp might do the trick; one on each outer side of...

82V Battery-powered mowers: Snapper XD vs Greenworks Commercial

Yah, I hear you there. But all things being equal, wouldn't more volts allow the unit to power through thick grass better? I've got about a half-acre (well, less to mow than that with house and whatnot...) I will be honest, the 40-Volt Ryobi cuts pretty well. I do need more than one battery...

82V Battery-powered mowers: Snapper XD vs Greenworks Commercial

Yah, that's what I said above. Same mowers. If you look at the battery packs, they're pretty much identical, too. (Odd thing, though, is that Greenworks offers 2, 4 and 5Ah batteries, but Snapper only has a 2Ah and a 4Ah. I have a 40V Ryobi, but would be nice to have the extra oomph of 42 more V's.

82V Battery-powered mowers: Snapper XD vs Greenworks Commercial

Thinking of replacing our 40V lithium-ion battery mower with one of the 82V units from either Snapper or Greenworks. From what I can glean, they're the same mower with different clothing. Snapper XD SXDWM82: Greenworks commercial GM210: Batteries even look identical. Anyway, has anyone...

    Workshop - Shed - Poolhouse

Added a station for a spindle sander and a bench grinder. (I've pretty much filled all the wall space, so I'm done.) I'll put actual legs (or maybe locking casters) on the spindle sander cabinet (and a proper top, and a shelf, and a door, etc...), but I wanted to get it in place, dangit!
