Regarding your dishwasher saga - I feel your pain 100%. Just then through that hellhole. I too had a Kitchen Aid. Replaced the drain pump due to the error, clean out the pump motor filter, replaced another drain part and still nice dice. Banging my head at that point and call in the pros...
