Tool Box vs under workbench drawers

Your Hon cabinets look great. What color/brand is that green? I’ve got some overhead Shaw Walker cabinets with lights underneath them that might look good with your cabinets. Let me know if you’re interested.

Tool Box vs under workbench drawers

I use both. The smaller hand tools are in the red toolboxes and the larger tools are in the white cabinet drawers that I found on Craigslist. The cabinets were all taken out a 1950’s house (I was told) and I had to do some cutting and rearranging to get them in this configuration, but there is...

    ACME Air Compressor!

Well, sorta. I’ve had this old compressor pump and electric motor combo for about 15 years (belonged to my wife’s grandfather) and have used it on a regular basis, but it’s had only a 5-gallon tank to fill which has made it fairly limited for most tasks. I recently picked up a 20-gallon tank...

    SK Driver Bit 73522

Looking for one of these phillips driver bits for my SK 73514 magnetic bit driver. Part number stamped on bit is 73522. The one shown in photo took decades of abuse in my electric drill before finally breaking. Pretty sure these bits are made in Asgard - Lol. Would consider a complete magnetic...

Master Mechanic / Homak Intermediate Tool Chest

Looking for an intermediate tool chest like the one shown here inside the blue rectangle. Extra bonus if it says "Master Mechanic" on it, but "Homak is fine. Needs to be in the same condition as photo. Willing to pay worthwhile packaging and shipping costs.

    Carter Carburetor Technician Tool Set

Did a search for a thread dedicated to Carter carburetor tools, but didn't see one. These tool sets are from the 30'-50's and belonged to my grandfather who owned a tune-up shop back in the day. I believe the box in the top of photo two is a "Junior Technician" set and the box on the right side...

Proto Tools Picture Thread - Post Yours!

Proto compression tester - 1960's? It still works great. The red hose is Snap-on.

Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

Here are a few older Snap-on tools in my garage. I actually use the hinged mirror on a regular basis, but not the torque wrench and super-long socket driver. This particular torque wrench doesn't click like the newer ones and I don't often need to access bolts in my neighbor's garage from my...

    Let's see your tin signs

Found this gem in a Spokane second hand store about 10 years ago. I've never seen another one otherwise, but it does appear to have been used by the Washington DOT. It now hangs right in front of where my wife parks so that she and the kids see it every time they leave to go somewhere in the car.
