    Racedeck tuffshield vs regular

A vote for Tuffshield here as well. It just looks better. Even though mine has it's share of nicks and scuffs when you stand back the glossier look sort of blends it all in. I did the checkerboard pattern and in hindsight I would probably have chosen an alloy instead of white. Love the white but...

    Twin V10 Racedeck install

Thanks guys. The ACR is brand new so haven't been able to wring it out yet, not to mention its March. Needs about 500 break in miles first. Took it down to get clear bra installed. The ACR is the "extreme" version so it's more barebones. Built to be as light as possible (for a viper). It is...

    Thinking about RaceDeck Flooring

My garage is more of a show garage than a working garage, although I have and do change oil etc in it. I used the Racedeck "Tuffshield" tiles mainly because of their more glossy appearance. I also used the synthetic agricultural underlayment just in case there was any clacking noise. Really...

    Getting a Harbor Freight...

Their low profile floor jacks are a great value for occasional use. I have several and they can be had at give away prices with the 20% off coupon. Must have for lower sports cars.

    Twin V10 Racedeck install

Having lived with the black and white floor now for some weeks, it is definitely a job to keep clean. I use the leaf blower to blow out debris, but the cars will leave dirty tire tracks that have to be mopped up. The mop will leave water marks unless you take the time to dry it thoroughly which...

    Lol Fast RaceDeck Install

White is tough, I would only recommend it for a showroom type garage. Not a good choice for any kind of working garage or if you are **** about keeping floor clean.

Jim Your setup looks fantastic! To be honest, I haven't had them long enough to tell you as it's only been a week. The white is definitely going to show dirt easier I am sure. Backing the cars back in I could see a little dirt marks from the tires on the white tiles and that was just once...

Thanks! They are the standard 12" x 12" tuffshield tiles, but because I wanted the checkerboards to be 2' x 2' it worked out great right out of the box, as that's how they are packed. I felt it would be too busy looking making each check 12" x 12".

Yes both cars are factory colors, under the garage fluorescents they look close but pretty different in natural light. The Lambo is technically Arancio Borealis (pearl orange). It's pronounced Lamborguini like the pasta. I think. :)
