I used them as well and they shorted me about 10 ft. I gave myself about 10 ft extra on a long main run to my shop and had maybe 2 foot left over. So make sure they give you the correct amount before you pull it through your conduit or bury it.

I'd like to know as well. My attached garage stinks up the house big time. I've been thinking of adding an exhaust fan like this and then adding a fresh air supply vent. My only concern is during the winter and drawing in 0 degree air from outside.

Just a worse case scenario, but if your attached garage catches on fire, it also might catch the house on fire. Detached garage, not as big of a problem.
