I searched and found older threads on the APlus 4 post. Anyone here with more recent experience with them? Thinking about getting 2 or 3 or their 8K units, more for storage of cars but also to do some work. I dont see that they are ALI certified but general online consensus is they seem pretty...
Here is my writeup on those same fans.

I still have two more that I didn't put up that I need to figure out what to do with or sell so if anyone is interested they are brand new in the box.
I have no idea about the details of structural or anything or why they did this with my building but I had mine built with the mezzanine. 40X60 with a 20X40 mezzanine. On the one end of the building with the mezzanine the concrete pad was "way" bigger (very technical I know) compared to the...
My gardener (and long time friend) picked up a couple of old slot machines and wanted me to check them out to see if I can get them working again. Sure...why not. The first one is a Bally's machine that I have started tearing apart. The second is a video poker machine...that one is next...
My first shop was a "Handy Hut" (Like a Tuff-Shed) that was 12 X 10 that me and my Dad built at the first house I owned. It was a lot of fun building it with him and then getting to build stuff in it. I cant imagine going back to something that small but it does sound appealing.
My girlfriend wanted an art table built (she does acrylic and water color painting mostly). I had a few old desk tops left over just laying around so I figure this would be a good project for me to get back into a bit of wood working and use my new table saw more. Wanted to do something other...
Even though my house is 20 ft higher than my shop in elevation I went ahead and did the rough in plumbing for a bathroom when I built my shop. Doubt I'll ever go through the expense of building it out but at least it's an option should I ever decide.
Yeah...that road is a sh#t show of an issue right now but I'm not going to get into that here.
As for unloading if I look at the timeline of the pics, the truck got there about 7:30am and I show most of it unloaded by 10am so maybe 3 hours. My contractor was very good. Just him and another guy...
I had a similar issue with a 40X60 building where there are two pretty sharp 90 degree turns. My builder asked if I was OK with splitting the cost of a second truck and I said that would be fine if it came down to it. They ended up getting everything onto a smaller trailer and did it in one load...
The neighbor to the north of you have a garage/large shed along the street as well. But more than likely it's "grandfathered" and was built a long time ago. In my city I was told I can ask for a variance, pay the fees, go through the process and still get denied. A second driveway as mentioned...
Thats a great idea. I have something very similar that I've been trying to figure out what to do with it. For the last few years it's just been used as a stand for my tile saw. But a nice coffee table seems like a better idea.
Seriously...I like your first idea!
Vintage road case. $1500.00 Purchased from a recent estate sale. Has Jeff Beck stenciled on the sides.
What...too soon?
I've got this fairly large (21X16X48) flight case. Interior is gutted. Trying to figure out what to do with it. Thought about maybe putting shelves inside and hang it on the wall but I have plenty of storage already. Anyone have any thoughts on a project to make out of it?
