Building on this old thread, recently used Armstrong S-515 moisture resistant adhesive. Application was a well seasoned, clean, 70 year old, poured concrete floor. We followed the directions to the letter. Selected the advertised, moisture resistant product knowing rain water occasionally...

I use galvanized for both my air lines and HVAC systems. Point being, black steel pipe very easily rusts from compressor condensation. Such rust is a much greater liability than zinc hypothetically flaking off galvanized pipe.

Gmcarmaro, I have the same issue here in VT. In hind sight wished I had insulated the floor slab and concrete walls when built 20 years ago. The balance of construction including doors are insulated best possible. The concrete and surrounding ledge is a mammoth heat sink. On warm summer days...

I too am interested in a walkthru overhead, garage door. Application is for a masonry, industrial building. Require heavy duty, weather tight, commercial use construction. Am interested in hearing form forum members with FIRST HAND, long term experience.
