    Mine is actually rated for 10,000lbs, it has the 10 5/8 cylinder. The heaviest vehicle I have had on it is my Toyota Tundra, and it lifted the Tundra fine. Just a little slower than my other cars. I bet your 3500 dodge weighs a lot more than my truck though. I love these inground lifts...
