Apparently my lack of construction knowledge precedes me. I assumed that if I asked for 30x32 that my pad would be that size.so I had no idea I was going to lose 2 ft on each side :( :mad:

Sadly no, I'm having a garage built and it was supposed to be 30x32. They have laid the block but when I measured it is 28x30. I don't recall them telling me that a 30x32 equates to 28x30 on The inside.

Hey everyone, love this site. been lurking for a while and getting alot of good ideas. This might seem like a silly question, but if you plan for a say 30x32 size garage, how much of that is useable floor space? or do they build the walls on the outside of that so you get the full size in floor...
