Yeah, most likely, just due to time, the seals in yours are like mine were... Replace them.
And I am where you are... I still have not not bolted it down because I can't decide if to keep it/sell it and get a four post... I really want a four post now that I have the height to accommodate one...
Yeah, I know. I need to remind myself that I need to simplify and get rid of things, not stuff more **** in the garage/workshop... I should stick with what I have and move on. Well, as far as the lift goes. I still need to continue to get rid of a lot of the stuff here...
Apologies, just saw this…
1. I mix what I need and use it. But I did store the used mix and it still worked after several weeks later.
2. I do not know. All I can tell you is that it works great… I got it from this guy. Maybe you can get your answer from him. He goes into a lot of detail...
I use this with far better results, and a heck less expensive and longer lasting, than Evaporust
Per 1L of Distilled water:
1: 100grams Citric Acid
2: 40grams Sodium Carbonate or 63Grams Sodium Bicarbonate or 30grams Sodium Hydroxide

Thank you. I can't wait to have it all mostly done... I still need to empty and take down that rack in front of the lift. So much **** from the recent move to this new house and workshop. Soon... soon...
Finished installing grip tape
Motorcycle/ATC lift arrived and now in place. As mentioned, replaced the wheel holder that comes with it, with a Condor wheel chock. Added traction tape while in there.
All done and also done for tonight...
Ended up getting a new one. This one from Vevor... and the cheapest price, delivered, was with Home Depot! I was not expecting that...close to 500.00 less.
Should work well with all the bikes and the riding lawn mower... and I should be able to place it in front of the MaxJax without...
I have been looking for a motorcycle/atv lift to add to the workshop. Nothing like seeing some empty space starting to surface, to get me to buy more carp... .
Seriously, l am looking for a used one locally... will see how the search goes. I am not getting any younger and my knees will...
I know, but you have to look at my situation. I had to do the install myself. No help. I had to move stuff out of the way as I progressed the work. These panels were light, easy to handle, no risk in cutting myself with them... if one fell, no damage, nothing bent. Very easy to cut to size...
A few years back, I could not resist adding this to my Logan lathe... These old signs just look amazing. It is so cool... When my shop is almost done (because we all know that shops are never completely done) I can see myself looking for old signs to decorate it inside...
But then again, I...
Remains from old top seal...
Cleaned that as well...
Now lets remove the inside seal...
Insane how brittle it was.
Placed the new seal in boiling water to make it easier to install.
Followed a recommendation I saw on a video. To use lanyard straps to pull the seal in place...
