    Buggered Husky drawer won't close

Hopefully I posted in the right place. I have a 26" wide 5 drawer Husky top cabinet from about 5 years ago. The third drawer down only closes 3/4 of the way. Something is catching it. It won't lock obviously and that's something I really need to happen. I know it should be an easy fix but...

    Ansi 107.1

I found a pay site to get the complete spec, but all I want is the section on clearances between the tool and fastener. Like many of you I have a variety of same size tools and some fit fasteners very well and others don't. It would be nice to have this clearance info to check tools after...

How long before US made Craftsman sells for a premium on Ebay ?

Upon reflection the Japan made craftsman tools will likely command more on ebay for their rarity in the future. We all threw out our jap made CM stuff, right?, meaning there's a lot less of it. Also, old US made can be junk. I have lots of US made CM screwdrivers and wrenches from the early...

    Tools from the old world

And the all time winner for a post with multiple redundant pictures that add no value to the thread is...... it's a tie. both my post and what I quoted are prime examples. I know I'll not do anything like this again. shoot the messenger at your leisure. :)

Princess Auto now keeps the Mayhew Striking Prybars

These are obviously not cheap junk like the $10 set I bought but they don't seem any better than a $7 taiwan set I got on a gas bar coupon deal so I returned them. I can't break my taiwan cheapies.

    Princess Auto wrench holders.

Why aren't you using the CTC racks or is that the 30pc. + 14 stubbies bonus kit for $49 they sold in a white box?

    Best way of storing wrenches???

I disliked wrench racks and placing wrenches on edge seems too crammed and laying them flat wastes space. CTC Maximum wrenches come in very nice racks. In fact, IMO, you can't buy a better rack from anywhere. I discovered that many of my gearwrench wrenches will happily fit in these nice racks...

    Husky tools ????

My Dad has Husky sockets bought 45 years ago from a place called Canadian Tire. I found a mid 90's 25pc. metric 3/8 socket set in my shed still shrinkwrapped. TOP notch finish and quality. I had many full polish wrenches from that era but they got stolen. Does anyone remember when HD would...

How long before US made Craftsman sells for a premium on Ebay ?

IMO if Sears goes bk, and they may well, then I imagine warranty on all US made tools will be made void after they reorg and emerge. If bk doesn't happen, then as others have said, you're getting a chinese replacement if you break a US made tool now and no amount of crying will change that. so...

Best tool you've ever found in the street

I found a tool chest full of tools. Snapon, Mac, Proto, all types and sizes. It was a ***** trying to open the overhead door to get it in the truck, in the dark, without setting off alarms. I'M KIDDING. I did find a Snappy screwdriver, black handle, 8"x3/8", on the road one day. Riding a bike...
