    Where to buy Racedeck tiles

Vacuum, mop with water (if necessary) and dry. 3+ years so far with RaceDeck and absolutely trouble free. Tiles can be swapped out in 30 sec with a putty knife if you need to. Do yourself a favor and put free flow tiles under the cars, otherwise you'll have puddles all over the place.

Considering Racedeck, but I have questions...

Great looking garages, guys. I have just over 1300 RaceDeck tiles in my garage and use a 1" thick piece of wood underneath the jacks and it works perfectly. 3+ years with the RaceDeck tiles and it looks like it did the day I installed it. To clean the tiles I run a regular floor vacuum over...

    Installed New Race Deck Floor

Love my RaceDeck flooring. Just over 3 years with it installed in the salt-filled capital of WI and it looks almost new after a few cleanings. No complaints here. Definitely would recommend (and have). Cheers!

Designer Epoxy Floor on Man Cave Show in NJ

I think it looks great. Excellent work. I can only hope that my basement looks like this once we finish it off.

    RaceDeck Black Friday Sale

RaceDeck will hold up just fine with a 4 post lift. No issues. I just installed RaceDeck in my 4+ car garage today and it turned out fantastic. I'll take some pics soon, but for a quote I'd just call the toll-free number that Jorgen posted above. Check out their online calculator at...

Garage epoxy prep - story so far and some questions

I live in the upper Midwest just now finally made a decision to do something with the floor, but now it's in the low 30's. I was gonna go the epoxy route, but due to the low temps I opted for RaceDeck....should be here sometime next week and I'll install it over the weekend.

    Hanging out in the garage

I like eating peanuts in the shell while watching football, so it just makes for less headaches if I take it out to the garage. Plus, an HD-DVR with NFL Sunday ticket, heat, a kegerator and several speaker throughout the garage makes it ideal.

What Mags do you subscribe to??

Car & Driver, Men's Fitness, ESPN and European Car. All decent mags IMHO.

    Garage roof insulation

Why not blow in insulation? Its relatively inexpensive and will take much less time to get the R value you're looking for.

    My Fathers Craftsman Tool box

Sorry, can't help...but that is a great looking box. Call me crazy, but I'd keep it as is. Nice piece.

Anyone have RaceDeck in the Milwaukee, WI area?

I've been going back and forth between epoxycoat and RaceDeck for months and I'm leaning towards RaceDeck since I missed the time window to put down epoxy for the season due to the cold temps that we're starting to get. I have a really hard time dropping the money on the RaceDeck tiles for my...

    Blow in insulation- The machine

+1,000,000 for the AttiCat machine. I blew in 20 bags of insulation in just under 2 hours for my ~1,000 sq ft garage. Have one person feeding the machine downstairs and another in the attic blowing the insulation. One tip - mark off the r-level (in inches) that you're aiming for around the...

    Batts vs Blown-In

Re: Batts vs Blown- My dad and I used the AttiCat system for my garage about a month ago and it was absolutely painless. My 4.5 car garage is about 1,000 sq ft and we used 20 bags in about 2 hours. He stayed in the garage feeding the machine and I was up in the attic. Total cost was about...

Keeping a 950 sq ft attached garage ABOVE freezing?

Hey guys, I finally got done finishing off my garage and I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective option to heat my 4.5 car garage. I've insulated and plastered the entire garage including adding about a dozen electrical outlets, can lighting and a light trowel finish to the blue board...
