definately a 2135TiMAX or the 2115 if your looking for 3/8. There really is no comparison, these are hands down the best. I have the quiet versions as well, really like them. For ratchets, anything IR is good. I use my 1/4 inch a lot. I think its a IR1107 or something. Very nice.
