Oh I fully know why it jumped the pulley, completely my fault. I've never worked at the four post lift before and I got this on a Facebook deal and I had to drive down and take the whole thing apart and then move it up to my place. When I put it back together I didn't fully inspect the cables...

I have a metal band saw and a drill press. If that's all it is I can just make it with this?
I picked up a 4 post lift used. One of the shafts that holds the pulleys on is toast (see pics). The cable came off the pulley and was running across the shaft and you see the results. The shaft had a set screw in it, and was threaded on the bottom. I got that out, it looks to be 4.25 inches...
