Great eBay find--double box rev. ratcheting wrenches

I got a set of the metric ones a while back. I don't know where they're made, but the quality seems on par with the ones made by Gearwrench. Also, I like them better than the double box wrenches made by Gearwrench for two reasons: they're reversible, and there's a slight angle offset.

    SK Sears deals arrived

I had that happen too. If you open it up, you'll see that the grease is dried up, and regreasing it should help.

    Hey reversegear- SK ratcheting screwdriver

Mine had the same issue with the short shaft being a tighter fit than the long flexible one. According to my micrometer, the dimensions were: - Short: .252" x .252" - Long: .249" x .249" Eyeballing it, I also noticed that the detent ball stuck out a little further on the short one. Measuring...

    Hey reversegear- SK ratcheting screwdriver

I got mine the other day and I agree that it's really nice. I think it has the same number of teeth as my Gearwrench screwdriver, but the ratcheting action is more refined, quieter, and it seems less "rattly," if that makes any sense.

GearWrench New Products - Today's Launch - Roto Ratchet

The one I got from Harbor Freight has a black metal selector. Speaking of rebuilds, does anyone know how to open these things up? I don't see any screws or snap rings on the head.

Screwdriver Durability Experiment- Anybody Up for It?

Thanks! I think that's about as far as I'll go -- I'll leave it to whoever gets all the screwdrivers to refine it and do the rest...

Screwdriver Durability Experiment- Anybody Up for It?

I pulled out a bunch of #2 Phillips screwdrivers today and tested how much torque it took for each to cam out of the head of a new drywall screw. This is very subjective, but from best to worst: - Lots of torque: Klein 5-1 screwdriver, DeWalt bit, Ace Pro screwdriver - Moderate torque: Ace...

Craftsman 7 pc metric ratcheting wrench

I'm not an expert, but I've worked on a few Hondas, and I've come across only 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, and 19mm bolt heads. I've never seen 13mm. I found this table which shows that different standards organizations use different head sizes for a given bolt diameter. For example, for 8mm diameter...

Craftsman C3 19.2 volt Cordless Inflator

I got one a couple weeks ago and I've used it to top off a few tires and inflate some bicycle tires. It's pretty loud but it works great, and the built-in digital pressure gauge is nice -- no swapping back and forth between the pump and a gauge. The auto-shutoff at a certain pressure seems like...

    Gearwrench Adapter Warning!!

I know I've seen reversibles with capstop at Lowe's. You can see it in this image of a reversible set here. The smooth ring at the bottom of each wrench is the capstop thing (it's only visible at the bottom because of the perspective of the pictures)...
