besides putting styrofoam under the slab, how do you insulate the footings so that the heat does not escape. how likely is it that the slab would crack and could the tubing develop a leak from the shifting of the concrete?

I am going to be building a 26x36 woodshop in the spring. It will be on a floating slab, so far the people I have talked with are unsure how this would work. Is this do able? What do people to for a stand alone garage that is a floating slab and have floor heat? Thank you for your assistance...
