Appreciate the link. So if I'm reading it right NONE of the Block grinders where outfitted with "cooling" vents... and it is imperative that the grinder have the "rubber" feet on it, or other wise be spaced up instead of being bolted flat to a mounting surface so it doesn't overheat. Correct...

I can see the reasoning behind having no vents (No entry of debris into grinder), maybe I was thinking about another piece of equipment. Curious, what is the MODEL Number, Size of wheels, HP /voltage rating of your vent-less commercial? Single or 3 phase? .

Earlier in the thread? a poster was talking about "heat-build-up", and somewhere I saw mention of "vents", or "louvers" on the Commercial models. Anyone got pics of the vents on commercial models? Anyone thought of adding them to the consumer grade block grinders, OR read about it being done?

They were probably saying they don't sell rubber brake hosing by the foot. Maybe metal DIY metal brake lines as well to protect themselves from lawsuits. Whatever the reason, we are becoming more and more a world where everything is prepackaged and is purposely made so it cant be taken apart...

For all we know the portioning valve is out of spec, ABS controller is defective or the brake pedal rod /vacuum booster does not have enough free play /is adjusted wrong. Q: Who wants to place bets on the OP posting back what the problem turns out to be, and what the fix is once the problem is...

One more thought. Check the rod that goes from the brake pedal to the master cylinder to see if it has a the proper amount of freeplay. If it isn't adjusted properly the piston within the master cylinder may not return to the proper position enough to allow pressure to normalize. Another thing...
