I want to use PVC/Vinyl interlocking wall panels for my new garage. I’ve been trying to find these panels in big box stores without any success. What I can find online are mostly commercial products which are hard to get and more expensive.
Anymore went with PVC/Vinyl wall panels ? If so...
Thanks guys for your help. Much appreciated.
I wouldn't mind if they were only few of these cavities but it's pretty bad and it will look even worst after a coat of paint. I will probably use Chris705's technique.
Thanks
I want to paint the stem walls in the garage but I have to do some serious preparation before priming and paiting.
I have a lot of cavities in the stem walls. I would like to know what would be the best product to use to fill in these holes ?
- Epoxyshield Repair Kit ?
- QUIKRETE Ready to Use...
I'm also looking for a solution to insulate on the inside. Logically, foam boards insulation is the best option but foam boards have to be covered with fire rated material (such as Fire Code drywall or the boards have to be fire rated). There are not many options available for fire rated...
Thanks everyone.
It's really confusing because in the install manual it's not indicated if you can have the torsion inside the opener. I called LiftMaster and the person helping me wasn't really helpful. He said that the torsion bar should not go past the collar but mentioned that it's...
I'm about to install a LiftMaster 8500 garage door opener and I wanted to make sure the torsion bar is the right length. Did a test fit and I could install it without cutting the torsion bar if it's allowed to insert part of the torsion bar (1/2") inside the black cylinder of the LiftMaster...
I noticed the same thing. Over here a double car garage must have a minimum of one drain (center).
This will be an expensive repair for the builder but that's what happened when you don't it right the first time. Let us know the outcome.
I’m undecided if I should get our garage floor coated with epoxy this fall or wait for spring. The current temperatures over here are about 15 deg Celsius (59 Fahrenheit) during the day and about 8 deg Celsius (46 Fahrenheit) at night. The slab is not insulated (no foam underneath slab). The...
The efficiency of this type of heater will highly depend on your ceiling height. I have a friend who has the StelPro Dragon heater which is really similar to the one you posted (from Princess Auto). He has 10ft ceilings and the heater is mainly heating the center of the garage. The coverage...
This heater is hardwired so you can control it via a line voltage thermostat or a low voltage (24V) thermostat. If you want to use a low voltage thermostat you will need a relay/transformer.
This heater is similar to the Dragon Ceiling Fan Heater (made by StelPro). I'm not a fan of this type...
I called technical support last week and the gentleman was indicating that with the volume of my garage (20ft x 20ft x 10ft), hanging the space heater at 8ft (or below) was highly recommended. He also recommended a ceiling fan or another space heater in case I can't install it at 8ft or below...
