    Steel or Stick Built??

I was thinking of sloping the apron like is done on gutters. I have a gravel driveway. Not all that much water flows into the garage. Only in the winter after it all starts to melt. All of the heavy water flows away from the garage. As far as the slab goes. I would only have to raise the slab a...

    Steel or Stick Built??

I ran a line from the road to what would be level on the garage. I would have to come up 5' in order to just get to level. Not going to happen.

Need help I found water on the floor coming in from the wall

Looks like the gutter is full of ice, and new water is leaking over the back of the gutter.

    Steel or Stick Built??

I guess the only way I could keep it would be to redo it out of cinder blocks.. Also. The main road sits higher than the garage now. I will have to trench the front under the apron for some sort of drain tile. I just have a dirt driveway, and when the snow melts it runs into the garage.

Most major home centers like Menard's, Home Depot, and others sell kits for the DIY person. The PEX I can get up here has a aluminum winding in it. Regular PEX has a mind of it's own. with the aluminum winding in it. You can bend it and it stays. In a closed system you will need a boiler, and...

    Steel or Stick Built??

I guess a stick built it is. I found a lumber yard that is selling a kit for $6031.00. Of coarse it has some cutting, but you get everything else. Right down to the shingles. I will check with a few to get a good estimate. I will only want a shell. The kit I saw has a single 16' door. I already...

New surround sound system in the garage.

Remember. Sub woofers are non directional. Meaning you don't need them facing you. If you have your tweeters facing you, and your mid range on the side. You should put your sub on the other side of the room. down low. Subs in the back of say a car should either point down, or be 2" away from a...

How are you guys storing these lights in your garage/shop?

I don't use them either. Sold all of mine at a yard sale. I went with LED ones. Last a lot longer. Can be dropped, and just won't burn out..

    Mice!

Cotton balls with peppermint oil on them. Put a few in the cars, and if you know where they are coming in put some there. They hate the smell of the peppermint.
