I'm not sure how this helps with locking the fixture in position ?
Or assuring it will securely support the stand, mount, and computer ?
I've been warned against conduct and plastic- for this purpose.

I'm building a computer mount stand with 1/2" black iron pipes fixtures.
How can I lock them in position, so they will remain the same position ?
So as to support the computer in the same attitude.
I'm adapting a Car Computer Mount for an indoor purpose.
