The green one is a Weaver model WA-72....2 ton I believe, the 4 ton is the next size up. Easy jack to rebuild.

I know this is an old thread and you may have the info on this but......it is Walker 10 ton model 780. The old style had a leather piston cup, newer versions have the rubber u cup. Great jack but be careful torquing the head to the base tube, they can crack rendering the jack useless or have a...

    Vintage Floor Jacks

Very few orings.....mostly leather piston cups, v-packings, square packing rings.... A trouble spot would be removing the tank nut to expose the inner reservoir to cleanse the crud out of the tank.....it takes a special threaded tool to remove the tank nut with a big wrench.......the rest can...

    Vintage Floor Jacks

That's a real jewel of a jack......Not many of those around.......I rebuilt one about 20 yrs ago for a customer at cost with the deal he'd sell it to me if he ever sold it......the shop closed it's doors and someone else ended up with it....:dunno: Maybe if you're lucky someone will have info...

Steve, Speedy recovery to you....Hope all is just temporary.... I wouldn't go to 10,000# on that overload......in a perfect world 10% over would be pushing it.....especially if the saddle bracket is worn.... I'd put it to 8,000# (OEM) with the lift arm raised up 6-10" .....if anything I'd drop...

I don't know if you can see it or not but you can play around with different ways of attaching the sandpaper....the 2" wide didn't seem to have the rpms to be effective in one pic you can see the 1" paper is folded lengthwise to do skinny grooves.....and you can also double up (fold in half)...

Steve, Here's pics of some of the whip sanders used in our day-to-day work......(one is almost 7' long) 3/8" dia turned down on one side (1/4") to accept die grinder....the opposite side cut a slit for paper..... They allow you to reach in and polish out bores not easily done with...

I still have one S-4 missing the handle assy (power unit found on a shelf with junk on it)....if I come up with the handle assy it shouldn't be too much trouble to open it up (cuz it'll be off the jack)..... Ideally, copying would be the best fix.....I have the tools and equipment, just need...

    Bull's Blackhawk S-4 Jack

Bull, Gonna be hard to find these accidently.......best to copy the originals.... You'll be in need of a lathe/milling machine to duplicate the release universal that's missing and the control rods that are wacked.....these parts can be copied with good samples.... IIRC, one rod inside the...
