I cant remember for sure but does the electrical code state somewhere that all work shall be completed in a workmanlike manner? Regardless, that is not workmanlike manner....
I seem to remember a video of a guy pissed at an AT & T trucked parked somewhere that he was upset about. Not sure how that worked out for him. I'd at least cut their valve stems :)
I'm almost positive I've cut at least 1/2" with my old 380. Try it - you'll know pretty damn quick if its going to work. Hypertherm Plasma's always seem to be way under-rated on their cutting capacities.
I have one just like that. Bought it because it was a good deal and always wanted a lathe. The very next day a found and purchased a much much larger Lodge and Shippley that I dont know what I would do without now :) I've never ran the Rockwell (3 phase which I dont have) so I dont know much...
I have a similar scenario in my shop - half of it cold storage and the other half heated shop. I built a 12' wide by 8' tall insulated pocket door in mine. I'll try to remember to get some pictures posted for you....
I'm a die hard Miller Fan - Have a MM251 and Syncrowave 200, although I do have a Lincoln SA-200 portable and just recently purchased a Lincoln 210MP. You may want to take a look at one of those 210's - nice little machines!:rocker:
