    Concrete color

When we had our driveway done, they were able to color the concrete. Our driveway is almost that same color as those steps. What I am not sure of is how they colored it, but it might be an idea to stop by a concrete plant and inquire.

Help me design my mezzanine for my pole barn.

I was wondering if anyone would catch the nails...I was getting down in the nail box and managed to get 6 in each side of the hanger before I ran out. I plan to pick up some more, and finish up filling the holes. Nice Ladder! I may consider something along those lines.

Well, figured this might need an update. Got it done this weekend. Tied it into the existing post of the pole barn. Came out to just a touch less than 10’ dee, and a touch over 21’ long. Used similar idea that Squatch used to build his. I am reconsidering making a small stairway to get up...

Above 1200 Sq/FT My Retirement Shop, Pole Barns, Old Truck and Questionable Decisions Thread

Dang, your pictures remind of when I did the work underneath my shed when it was first built. learned a lot real fast on what to when this isn’t in my normal wheelhouse. Glad it seemed to have worked for me, and glad it is working for you.

Hey Darwin! Nice staircase! Sadly, I do not have room for one in my current setup. Doing good, but super busy with work. If you need your lift back, I can certainly run it up to you. I figure you should start charging me rent on it! :ROFLMAO: Haven't gotten all the ceiling up in the shed...

Help me design my mezzanine for my pole barn.

I was watching it at work, so I needed to keep the sound down...but most angles appeared to be 16" oc. Only one angle made me second guess myself, but guessing 16" is good enough.

Certainly like the way Squatch does it. That was how I was thinking I would do it as well. Looks like he used 2x10's as the floor joists. Can't quite tell if he is 12" or 16" on center with them.

Hello All, I have been very slowly working on my shed project since we built our house. Dragfliud has been nice enough to let me store his sheetrock lift to put my ceiling up, which I greatly appreciate. Being that we moved into the shed as were building the house, I was unable to insulate...

Looking at garage door openers...10x10 commercial insulated door

Hey all, I am starting to look at garage door openers for my shed door, which is a Clopay commercial 3721 insulates 10x10. When I put this up a couple years back, the fella that sold me the door had a light duty commercial opener he would have sold me. Not knowing what I wanted to do at the...

    Insulating an uninsulated pole barn

Do you want the walls covered, or just insulated? There are insulation blankets that are used in pole barns to hang like curtains in between the poles. If the shed doesn’t have a vapor barrier on the steel side of the building, it is my understanding you can put plastic over the insulation...

    Paint sprayer for walls

Well, figured I would finish off this thread with what I got. Ended up going just a tad bigger, and ordered a Graco Ultra Max II 490. Seemed to me to be a better deal, and sounds like it cleans a bit easier than the 395. One of the big reasons I also went with the 490 was that I plan to spray...

    Paint sprayer for walls

Yep, back rolling was my plan. Figured I would be spraying, and have someone else come around and lightly roll it.
