I recently stripped the decals of the side of my truck, i then buffed out the old wax embossed marks, then used Zymöl wax. Man that is some good stuff! I recommend it highly!

The Cman set I have states that it is able to use on both tamper proof and regular torx... Personally if I crack a tamper proof bit I will just exchange it over at Sears, however I own a cheap china made set too, I think iI would use those before my cman's when I think I might break one.
