I'm that way. My manager will grab a tool use it then drop it any which way back in my drawer usually still dirty! Sometimes want to beat him! :lol_hitti

Steel wool can cause a short! As well as leave residue on the wire. I use a piece of Scotchbrite pad held to wire with a wooden clothes pin year round because wire is usually dirty from manufacturer and it works during the wet season when the wire gets rust!:rocker:

I agree should never drill all the way thru a slab it gives the ground moisture a path to travel up Moisture will deteriorate concrete and weaken it. If a fastener fails it should never be driven through and a new one put in it's place.. Fasteners work by expanding and with wet concrete it will...

Yes Snap on has Blue point, Cornwell has Blueline, Matco has SilverEagle, I'm not sure What Mac has for their cheap Import tools! Craftsman even does imports!
That way they can all cater to the top of the line techs as well as beginner techs or those that cannot afford the higher priced Name...
Then You have commited Mac and Matco dealers! I buy Snap on and Cornwell because they come every week! Have not seen my Matco Dealer in a year and My Mac dealer in three years except as they drive by the shop!
