Cool post — just realized my Saylor Beall has one of these too. Didn’t realize they were such sought after motors. I’ll put a magnetic starter on it stat — don’t want to toast it!!

Thanks — that definitely makes sense! Weirdly enough — the motor/pump config on this compressor is opposite my other Saylor Beall. Kinda strange!!

Yeah I’ve seen some with t slot tables — but I think predominately they were used with heavy “jigs” so you could move the part from place to place under the four heads. I’m going to drill and tap some holes and add some t-track under one head — on the other head — I’ll mount a nice slide table...

I could but the powermatic 1150 is beefier in just about every way—and that’s saying something because these 15-665 heads make my 15” walker Turner press look like a children’s toy. Been too busy in the shop to get this up and running, but I’m about to prep the table for the powermatics this...

I just picked up a 4-gang delta table — and I’m selling off the heads to put on two 1150 powermatics — gonna be a proper production table. I do really like these delta depth stop mechanisms. .. they’re pretty sweet. Just want the bigger power of the 1150 vs the 15-665!

I have 4 drill press heads for sale in Turner, OR (97392). Model is 15-665 — all are setup with low speed 3 phase motors (perfect for a VFD!!) The table is not for sale just the heads. Price per head is $125 OBO One has a procunier tapping head on it — that unit is $225 OBO

I mean not to bring this back from the dead, but 60 lbs for a pump is nothing. Saylor Beale pumps are like 200#

Bringing this back from the dead… just got an older Saylor Beall for $150!! Runs and works great — so even if it’s a clone (I don’t think it is) I think I made out ok :-)

Bit cheaper now — but not much… $1K from HomeDepot for the chamberlain units. Just installed them in my garage — they’re great!!

Looking for something like this: Located near Salem, OR. Table only or table + drill press heads would be fine!! Have cash and am ready to buy. Need for my business.
