No galvanization that I saw when I disassembled... Some of the old hardware definitely needs to be replaced. Bent bolts, damaged threads, etc. Wanting a consistent appearance is making me lean towards replacing all the visible stuff.

I'm restoring an early 1970's Rockwell drill press. As part of that, I'm planning on replacing most of the nuts, bolts, etc. Are stainless steel fasteners a good option? Anything better to use in terms of galvanization? Thanks... I'm new to the restoration thing...
