Mechanic tools are kept in the garage.
Gun tools are kept in the basement “hobby room”.
Gun tools include punches, roll pin holders, headspace Gauges, screwdrivers, picks, brushes, cleaning rods, and hex wrenches. Probably missing a few.
I usually reach for M12 first over M18. They are handy and work well for me at the DIYer level.
I think I started with M18 then got into M12. If you start with one system, you’ll probably get the other at some point. :ROFLMAO:
Just a DIYer here. I’ve only used my drills for drilling and impact driver for driving screws.
Lag bolts, I’ll use an impact wrench.
In the end, if it gets the job done, safely, and in a somewhat timely manner, that’s all that matters.
I like the dust pan feature. Might make me sweep up the garage floor more often. But usually, I use the battery powered leaf blower to blow out the floor.
I’ve been putting some of my stuff into Milwaukee Packout boxes. I like these systems because of how well they stack, especially when transporting it in a vehicle. There are many brands, so pick your favorite flavor.
I don't think I've lost tools at home. Maybe misplaced though.
However, I can see myself losing a tool if out and about in the field, such as leaving behind a socket if helping a friend with a flat tire.
I haven't tried every LED brand and technology out there, but there is something about Milwaukee LED “TRUEVIEW” Technology that my eyes really like.
I only have some of their trueview worklights and considering a handheld version.
