How to get Snap-On warranty replacement?

Hmm, just bought a set of snapon impact swivel sockets I have had my heart set on for 5 months now. Got them used from a guy on kijiji - got them home and had a good look at them, not in the best shape - some worn pretty bad quite a bit of rust, obviously not well looked after. Tomorrow am...

Floor gringing without vacuum hook up

Try to find a place that is willing to deliver - even if it is out of town. I got one with a water connection but wish it had the vacuum connector, as I am still cleaning up all the concrete dust and will be for awhile. That and wear a good(not cheap) dust mask like an N95 - even the one I had...

Concrete cleaner to remove oil stains, rust, tire marks, etc.

I used regular old TSP on my driveway and in the garage - worked well. If the stains are darker, dilute it just enough to make it into a paste and really work it in with a stiff bristle broom, let it sit for awhile(Think it lists how long in the instructions) and then rinse.

    Motofloor: The conclusion

Canadian homes seem to be built with smaller and smaller garages. I am lucky enough to have a double car, but wouldn't buy another home with a room built overtop a garage - hope my next house has a separate garage in case I decide to burn it down. Even with a double, might as well call it a...

Paint chips down, freaked to lay clear!!

From what I've read I would stay away from broadcasting chips in the top clearcoat. They won't settle in like they did on the base coat and you'll end up with flakes sticking up through which will make cleaning difficult and they will eventually get contaminated with dirt/oil and won't look so...

    MotoFloor - Not overly impressed.

Don't blame GarageGuy, he was born that way. There is one of these I-Know-Better-types on all handyman DIY type forums. And he really truly believes he is just being honest and helpful. If I were newer to being on forums, I'd honestly be scared away from posting again and not to be conceited...

My new concrete surface is cracking away! Recomendations would be appreciated!

I don't care who tells you that the crack is superficial, it isn't. I have spent the past 6 months slowly repairing a very similar crack which was like a bolt of lightning right up the middle of my garage floor with arms travelling left and right all the way up to the walls. After starting to...

    Wolverine, Durall, Epoxy Coat conundrum

I have just gone through the same thing you are going through. Months of reading just making myself more confused on which product. At first, I was going to buy wolverine - the price was making me think twice about it. I started searching kijiji and craigslist and found someone selling some -...

    Concrete Etched, Need Advice

Wow! Great job on the floor! I must have good taste, because I chose the same color epoxy and flakes... I hope mine comes out close to as nice as yours. Question though, did you use any non-slip in the top or middle coat? Couple of times I have read that people regretted using it as it made...
